Garage Floor Coatings
How long do garage floor coatings last?
Our coatings are built to last DECADES. In 30 years of business, we’ve never had a single coating failure that we haven’t made right. We return to customer homes, not becuase our coatings don’t last, but simply, to refresh their floors before a home sale.
What’s the difference between epoxy and polyaspartic coatings?
Epoxy provides superior bonding strength, while polyaspartic offers better UV stability and faster curing times. Our signature Tier 2 system uses both – epoxy base for adhesion, polyaspartic topcoat for durability.
Do I need to grind my garage floor before coating?
Not always! Our epoxy base often achieves better bonding with acid wash prep than expensive grinding (verified through third-party testing). We’ll assess your specific floor and recommend the most cost-effective prep method.
How much does a garage floor coating cost?
A standard 2-car garage (400-550 sq ft) with our Tier 2 system typically runs $2,335-$3,197 without grinding. Pricing varies based on size, prep needed, and color options.

We also offer upgraded color packages, solid color options, and custom designs, including metallic finishes and patterns. Whether you want a subtle, professional look or something bold and unique, we can make it happen.

What’s your warranty?
We offer a 5-year product warranty and 10-year service warranty. Unlike competitors offering “lifetime” guarantees who’ve only been in business 3 years, we’ve been perfecting our craft for 30 years and will actually be here to honor it.
Can you coat over existing epoxy?
It depends on the condition and type of existing coating. We’ll evaluate your floor and let you know if a recoat is possible or if removal is needed for the best results.
How long does installation take?
Most residential garage floors are completed in 1-2 days, with a 24-48 hour cure time before you can drive on them. Our polyaspartic topcoat cures faster than traditional epoxy systems.
Industrial & Commercial Coatings
What industries do you serve?
We specialize in aircraft hangars, manufacturing facilities, warehouses, automotive shops, commercial kitchens, and food processing plants. Recent projects include a 25,000 sq ft Air Force Base hangar coating and are a trusted installer of the US Air Force.
Do you offer military-grade coating systems?
Yes – we’ve completed government contract work, including military installations. Our Tier 3 system is engineered for extreme industrial environments where heavy machinery, metal fabrication, and intense use occur.
What’s the difference between industrial coatings and residential coatings?
Industrial coatings are built for environments where heavy metal components, machinery, or equipment are regularly moved or dropped. The materials and engineering are specialized for extreme durability beyond typical vehicle traffic.
Can you handle large-scale commercial projects?
Absolutely. We’ve been doing commercial work for three decades and have the experience, equipment, and manpower to handle projects of any size.
Do you offer food-grade coating systems?
Yes – we provide food-grade epoxy and polyurethane systems that meet safety requirements for commercial kitchens and food processing facilities.
Polished Concrete
What’s the difference between polished concrete and coatings?
Polished concrete mechanically grinds and polishes the existing slab to a high-gloss finish. Coatings add a protective layer on top. Both have their place depending on your aesthetic goals and performance needs.
Is polished concrete good for garages?
Polished concrete works well for certain applications, but it doesn’t provide the chemical resistance or surface protection that coatings offer. For home garages, we typically recommend our garage floor coating systems for better long-term performance.
How do you maintain polished concrete?
Polished concrete is relatively low-maintenance – regular dust mopping and occasional damp cleaning keeps it looking great. Commercial dustproofing systems can further reduce maintenance in high-traffic areas.
Staining & Decorative Finishes
Can you stain concrete instead of coating it?
Yes, we offer both staining and coating options. Staining changes the color of concrete while allowing the natural texture to show through, while coatings provide color plus a protective layer. It can be great choice to achieve certain aesthetics in your space, like a vintage look or a modern hybrid interior.
What color options do you offer?
Our standard system includes multiple different staining options. We also offer upgraded color packages for unique projects. The possibilities are nearly endless.
Can you create custom patterns or designs?
Absolutely – we’ve done custom logos, metallic finishes, and decorative patterns. Our experience includes everything from standard garage floors to high-end showroom installations.
Pool Deck Coatings
What’s the best pool deck coating for Utah’s climate?
We offer two main systems: Solar Reflective (budget-friendly, cooler surface, requires yearly maintenance) and Quartz Crystal (impact/scratch resistant, minimal maintenance, higher cost). Choice depends on your priorities.
Will pool deck coatings reduce surface temperature?
Our Solar Reflective system significantly reduces surface temperature, making pool decks more comfortable for bare feet. Quartz Crystal systems provide some temperature reduction but prioritize durability.
How slip-resistant are pool deck coatings?
Our Quartz Crystal system is specifically engineered for slip resistance in wet conditions – ideal for pool areas where safety is critical.
Sealing & Maintenance
Do concrete coatings need to be resealed?
We offer two main systems: Solar Reflective (budget-friendly, cooler surface, requires yearly maintenance) and Quartz Crystal (impact/scratch resistant, minimal maintenance, higher cost). Choice depends on your priorities.
How do I maintain my coated garage floor?
Simple – sweep regularly and mop with mild soap when needed. Our coatings are chemical-resistant and incredibly easy to keep clean compared to bare concrete.
Can damaged coatings be repaired?
In most cases, yes. Depending on the type and extent of damage, we can often repair sections without redoing the entire floor.
