We Build in Layers, Not Shortcuts
Our system starts with an epoxy base pressed deep into the concrete slab — not painted on top of it. That foundation manages moisture from beneath the surface, which is the primary reason single-system coatings fail. From there, we build up through a decorative layer that locks the system together and protects the bond beneath it, and finish with a UV-stable topcoat selected for your specific use environment.
Every component is there because it does a specific job. None of it can be skipped without compromising the system, which is why we don’t skip it.
We Specify, Not Standardize
There is no single coating system that performs correctly in every environment. A residential garage in Summerlin and a distribution warehouse in North Las Vegas have different traffic loads, different chemical exposures, and different performance requirements.

Alex and the Hi-Tech coating crew resurfaced our garage floor with an 100% solid epoxy flake coat and resurfaced our pool decking with a quartz crystal surface. They also retreated are existing decorative concrete. These were big jobs and the results were fantastic. We have the look for both our garage floor and pool decking that we have always wanted. The existing decorative concrete looks better than it did originally. We were out of town when they did the pool decking. Alex texted and sent pictures daily, keeping us informed on their progress. Our installed systems have been performing for 20-plus years in active use environments. The clear topcoat will eventually show natural wear — at which point a topcoat refresh restores the floor to like-new condition without replacing the whole system. We back every installation with a 10-year service warranty from a company that’s been in business since 1995.
You don’t have to! That’s what the evaluation process is for. The right system depends on your surface condition, how the space is used, traffic load, chemical exposure, and what you need the floor to look like long-term. We assess all of that before recommending anything. A quote that comes without a site evaluation isn’t a quote. It’s a guess.
Epoxy provides deep bond strength, structural load capacity, and moisture management from beneath the slab. Polyaspartic delivers UV stability, surface hardness, and chemical resistance at the topcoat layer.
Hi-Tech uses both in a hybrid system — not because it sounds better on paper, but because each material does something the other can’t. Using only one means sacrificing the performance characteristics of the other.
