Why Our Coatings Last Longer Than the Rest
Most coating companies install a single-material system and call it done. Hi-Tech builds a layered hybrid system that’s been engineered and refined over three decades of real-world installs for perfected adhesion, durability, and aesthetics.
Layer 1 — The Bond
We start by pressing epoxy deep into your concrete slab — not just coating the surface. This creates a bond so strong that the concrete itself would crack before the coating ever peels away. It also seals off moisture rising from beneath the slab, which is the number one reason cheaper coatings bubble up and fail within a few years.
Layer 2 — The Body
While the epoxy is still wet, we pack in decorative color flakes until the floor literally can’t hold any more. This is where your floor gets its look — but it also locks the system together and shields the layer underneath from UV light, which causes coatings to yellow and break down over time.
Layer 3 — The Protection
Finally, we seal everything under a clear protective topcoat. For most garages and commercial spaces, that’s a scratch-resistant, UV-stable coat that holds up to daily traffic, spills, and years of use. For tougher environments — think aircraft hangars or chemical-heavy shops — we upgrade to a topcoat rated for fuel, oil, and acid exposure.

Epoxy provides superior bond strength, moisture management, and compressive load capacity. Polyaspartic excels at UV stability, surface durability, and chemical resistance. Hi-Tech installs a hybrid system that uses both. We use an epoxy base layer for structural performance and a polyaspartic topcoat for long-term protection and appearance.
Our installed systems are performing at 20-plus years with the topcoat still intact. When the clear coat shows natural wear after decades of use, a topcoat refresh restores the floor to like-new condition at a fraction of the original installation cost. We back every installation with a 10-year service warranty, from a company that’s been in business since 1995.
Every job is evaluated individually based on square footage, slab condition, system tier, and prep requirements. We don’t publish flat rates because a quote built on your actual floor is more accurate — and more honest — than a number we’d give you before we’ve seen the space.
